Today [Nov 4th] we are glad to receive our guest lecturer from the national parliament.
The Chairperson of the Standing Specialized Committee of Information at the Reconstituted-Transitional National Legislative Assembly, Hon. John Agany Deng delivered a lecture to MDI students on the role of parliament to supervise the activities of the executive, discuss government policies, and debate and endorse laws in the country.
Hon. Agency also lectured to our students on parliamentary business, legislation, and promoting media freedom in the country.
The students were able to interact with the honorable member of parliament, asked questions, and received responses to their concerns.
It was a very interactive two-hour session.
