A media outreach training workshop has kicked off in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State on Tuesday, 7 November 2023. The training that will run on for 3days has brought together 20 journalists drawn from Lainya, Morobo, and Yei River counties.
The training is part of the professional development designed for journalists who might have not had a chance to attend formal training in journalism but are already practicing the profession at the state level.
Speaking during the opening session, the Chairperson of AMDISS, Mr. Koang Pal Chang, seized the opportunity to caution journalists to watch out and reject any form of bribery so as to preserve the credibility, independence, trust, and confidence that the public has on the independent media.
