we are pleased to announce our mini-grant winners for the Innovation Hackathon Round 2, for this year 2024.
1. The first prize goes to Mayom Mabuong for his project, which aims to establish community information hubs in Rumbek.
2. Chuol Jany and Nyakume Simon won the runner-up position for their project, aimed at creating a farmer information team to mitigate the effects of flooding on agriculture in Mayendit and Leer Counties.
3. The third prize goes to Rachel Hakim Edward for her project, GoGo Play, which aims to enhance the entertainment sector in South Sudan and will be implemented in Juba.
4. Onen Francis and Irra Patrick took the fourth position for their project, which aims to distribute solar radios to increase access to radio service in rural areas, and will be implemented in Torit.
5. Finally, Dube Simon won with his project, which aims to empower 20 girls and women through social media storytelling.
