The Media Council of Kenya and the Association for Media Development in South Sudan (AMDISS) have agreed to work jointly to elevate ethical reporting within the region and beyond.
In a meeting held on Monday in Nairobi Kenya, the Chairperson of AMDISS, Josephine Achiro, along with Board Member, John Gachie met the leadership of the Kenyan counterpart to discuss issues of media concern.
The leadership of both institutions engaged in a fruitful discussion about the importance of establishing media standards in the digital age.
The deliberation focused on ensuring responsible and ethical journalism not only within the region but also across the entire continent.
During the meeting, Josephine Achiro, AMDISS chair, expressed her gratitude to the leadership of the Kenyan Media Council for hosting the organization.
