The Association for Media Development in South Sudan (AMDISS) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the renovation and handing over of two radio studios at Singaita FM in Kapoeta. This renovation activity was initiated last week and completed over the weekend.
The renovation of these Radio Studios marks a significant enhancement in the broadcasting capabilities of Singaita FM, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our Radio Technician, Stephen Phillip.
Renovation Highlights
Acoustic Improvement: The old acoustic soundproofing materials were removed and replaced with new, state-of-the-art soundproofing. This upgrade ensures superior sound quality, enhancing the overall listening experience for our audience.
Project Timeline: The renovation work commenced last week and was efficiently completed over the weekend, demonstrating our commitment to minimizing downtime and ensuring a swift transition to the upgraded facilities.
Collaboration and Support: This renovation project is a part of the SIMA initiative and was made possible through the generous support of USAID, in collaboration with IREX. Their contributions have been instrumental in advancing the quality and reach of our radio services.
Looking Forward
The upgraded studios will significantly improve the ability to deliver high-quality broadcasts and expand the outreach of this Radio community in Kapoeta and beyond. We are excited about the enhanced opportunities this will provide in engaging with our community and delivering impactful programming.
