Yesterday, AMDISS was honored to participate in the Trust Project Advisory Committee Meeting, chaired by the Ministry of Health.

The meeting brought together Trust Project Partners in South Sudan, including the South Sudan Nurses and Midwives Association (SSNAMA), Care International South Sudan, and the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of South Sudan (AGOSS). Together, we reviewed project implementation progress, addressed emerging challenges, and identified new opportunities to enhance our collective impact.

Our role as AMDISS in this project is to provide technical support and specialized training to three radio partners, including Radio Emmanuel 89 fm in Torit, Radio Jonglei in Bor, and Voice of Reconciliation in Bor, to equip their journalists with the tools to produce accurate, timely, and accessible programming on Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR) and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

AMDISS remains committed to providing the necessary technical support to our partners in the health sector, ensuring our efforts align with national health priorities. We are excited to continue working alongside these vital institutions to bridge the health information gap.
