Our director had a privilege of representing AMDISS at the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) meeting for a new JICA-supported project focused on the Protection of Freedom of Expression and Access to Information in South Sudan.

It was a productive session where they deliberated on the core objectives of the initiative and the pivotal role each stakeholder must play to ensure its success. The project is a crucial step forward in our mission to improve the media environment in the country.

The project will be led by the Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology and Postal Services, with AMDISS and UJOSS as implementing partners.

We are delighted to see such a commitment, willingness and openness from the Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology and Postal Service in coordination with AMDISS and UJOSS towards working together for the success of this project.

On behalf of AMDISS, our director reiterated our unwavering commitment to this partnership, having in mind that achieving the project goals require commitment, synergy, and shared purpose. I look forward to working closely with our esteemed colleagues at the Ministry, UJOSS, and all our partners to ensure we successfully deliver impactful results for the media fraternity.
