Association for Media Development In South Sudan (AMDISS) was formed in 2003 before the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) of 2005.
AMDISS was formed by South Sudanese journalists in
the diaspora who are editors and owners of the leading media outlets for the then Southern Sudan, it started as a network through the internet/emails and it is a membership based organization.
Media Development Institute under @amdissmedia has admitted over 30 student journalists for a one year professional journalism training.... The training which started in 2016 has so far trained nearly 200 journalists across South Sudan of which this marks the 8th Cohort. #SSOX
“This political environment has to be changed because when Oppositions are fighting, everything is not secure & all of us have been hearing that our politician has adopted strategy of no peace no war which means no stability,” Koang Pal Chang.
