Youth Media Initiative South Sudan interacts with MDI students on multimedia journalism and incorporating mobile Journalism, digital fact-checking, and podcasting to our changing media standards to stimulate independent, responsive, and accountable media per the current evolution in the mainstream media.
Irene Ayaa, the Principal of MDI in her opening remark directed the students to interact and share ideas on how effective and ethical journalism could be encouraged to magnetize public trust in the present digital mobile journalism and fact-checking to deepen check-and-balance in the newsrooms.
